He was predeceased by: his parents, JW Thomason and Savilla Thomason. He is survived by: his sons, Randal, Danny, Jackie and Keith; his daughters-in-law, Jequeta and Robin; his grandchildren, Casey, Dawn, Matthew, Karen, Seth and Samantha; and his great grandchildren, Gideon, June, Amos, Magnolia and Gemma. He is also survived by his eight siblings, leaving behind one sister.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Berry's Chapel church Honduras Mission Fund.
