He was predeceased by: his parents, James Gerard and Betty Baum Horton; and his former wife Jean Horton Hunter. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Hood Horton; his children, Laurie Gross (Curt), Kurt Wessels (Sindhu) and Keeli Lonas (Craig Brent); his sister Amy Horton; and his grandchildren, Hayden William Gross, Madison Bliss Gross and Niam James Wessels.
