He is survived by: his wife Gaye Sandall; his daughters, Stutzi Hixson (Jim) and Tess Miracle (Floyd); his grandsons, Harry and Max Hixson; his sister Bonnie Sexton; his nieces and nephews, John (Sophie), William, Michael Sexton and Kelly Larimore; Pat Metheny.
