He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman McArthur and Ruth McArthur; his brother Bobby McArthur; and his siblings-in-law, Judy Lovell and Phil Lovell.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Lovell McArthur; his son James Travis "Jimbo" Stinson, Jr.; and his sister Jean Ann McArthur Fleming. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
