He was predeceased by: his parents, Hance Lassiter and Harriett Lassiter; and his wife Susan R. Lassiter. He is survived by: his children, Russ Lassiter (Jennifer) and Sherri Shelly (Tim); his grandchildren, Brandon Shelly, Megan Allen (Tommy), Shane Shelly (Katie), Gracie Shelly, Will and Maggie Lassiter; his great grandchild Emerson (Paula Martin); his nephew David Rutherford (Missy); and his nieces, Lea Rutherford and Lin Rutherford.
Mr. Lassiter was a member of Otter Creek Church of Christ and served on several charity boards, including the Wayne Reed Center and Heartbeat. In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation in his name to the above-named charities.
