He was predeceased by : his parents, Roy Haynes and Vada Haynes; and his siblings, R. C., Herschel, Clifford Haynes, Flora Carmley and Lavinia Dotson.
He is survived by : his wife Marlene Haynes; his daughter Susan Lewis; his grandson Dustin Lewis; his siblings, Ernest Lynn Haynes and Floda Kennedy; and his siblings-in-law, Daniel French (Sue), Lois, Margaret, Mary Gail Haynes, Gabe, Gracie and Joy. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
