He was predeceased by: his parents, Will Grundy Quarles and Margaret Haile Quarles (Marjorie Quarles); his son Robert Haile Quarles; and his brother Dr. Bill Quarles. He is survived by: his siblings, Thad Quarles (Cleta) and Mary Margaret Cearley (Ed). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
