He was predeceased by: his parents, John Pharis Richardson and Buna D. Hamlett Richardson; and his siblings, Joel Richardson, Odell Richardson, Willie Edna Scantland, Velma Smith, Doris Chaffin and Dorothy Bradford.
He is survived by: his children, Johnny Richardson (Sandra) of Hilham, TN, Donny Richardson of Portland, TN and Deanna Lilly (Chris) of Gainesboro, TN; his stepdaughter Tammy; his brother Ben Richardson of Gainesboro, TN; and his former wife Patricia Bennett of Sparta. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home, Inc. (2131 S Grundy Quarles Hwy, Gainesboro, TN 38562). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
