In loving memory of Hollis Ramsey (Gainesboro, Tennessee), born in Jackson, Tennessee, who departed this world on July 26, 2025 at the age of 93. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Knox Polk Ramsey and Clara Almedia Hensley Ramsey; his wife Victoria Ramsey; his children, Alan Ramsey and Joan Biggs; his grandson Matthew Hill; and his siblings, James Ramsey, Velsie Johnson, Nadine Chrisman, Dois Chrisman, Jewell Lumpford, Agnes Wray and Lassie Oliver.
He is survived by: his children, Glen Ramsey (Deborah) of Gainesboro, TN and Clara Jane Richardson of Gainesboro, TN; his sisters, Linda Faye Williams of Lebanon, TN and Sue Spivey (Jerry) of McMinnville, TN; and his grandchildren, Deanna Lilly (Chris), Tammy Coffman, Brian Biggs, Christy Biggs, Natasha Smith (Clint) and Christopher Ramsey. He is also survived by 13 great grandchild and 6 great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home, Inc. (2131 S Grundy Quarles Hwy, Gainesboro, TN 38562). A funeral service was held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
