With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jackie Ellis (Gainesboro, Tennessee), born in Gibson, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 29, 2025 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Clay Ellis and Geraldine Minchey Ellis; his son Gregory Lee Ellis; his brother Jimmy M. Ellis; his brother-in-law Ray Pryor; and his mother-in-law Margaret Imogene Robinson Brazle.
He is survived by: his wife Gail Brazle Ellis of Whitleyville; his daughter Tina Gail Ellis of Gainesboro; his grandchildren, Olivia Gail Lindsey of Gainesboro and Hunter Ellis (Kaiden Allen) of Whitleyville; his sister Jerri Pryor of Cookeville; his siblings-in-law, Anna Jean Ellis, Debbie Skimmyhorn (Bruce), Vickey Brazle, Earl Brazle Jr. (Pam), Rickey Brazle and Garry Brazle (Sandra); his father-in-law Earl Brazle (Patricia); his aunts, Willie Mae Reeves (Bill) and Carolyn McCormick; his nephew Tony McCormick; and his close friends, James, Shelia and Zelda Hines.
Visitation was held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home, Inc. (2131 S Grundy Quarles Hwy, Gainesboro, TN 38562). A memorial service was held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
