With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Joe Beavon of Gainesboro, Tennessee, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Joe left this world on July 11, 2025 at the age of 81, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Charles Beavon, Sr. and Anna Martha Marx Beavon; and his sister Connie Beavon. He is survived by: his wife Jane Beavon of Gainesboro, TN; his children, Joseph Clark Beavon (Melanie Sisson) of Franklin, TN, Kevin Martin Beavon (Tonya Campbell) of Kettering, OH, Jason Cash Beavon (Kathryn Andrews) of Lebanon, OH, Brian Andrew Shilt (Sonya McAfee) of Apopka, FL and Stephanie Elane Lester (Greg Copley); his grandchildren, Dr. Jenna Marie Mooney (Wacey) of Centerville, OH, Emily Anne Beavon (Charles Walrath) of Tallahassee, FL, Jacob Clay Beavon of Toledo, OH, Joseph Connor Beavon (Sarah Scott Cook) of Franklin, TN, Joshua Christopher Beavon of Lebanon, OH and Elizabeth Rae Beavon of Lebanon, OH; and his great grandchildren, Eleanor Violet Mooney of Centerville, OH and Charlotte Joy Mooney of Centerville, OH.. He is also survived by cousins, extended family, and numerous friends.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Gainesboro First United Methodist Church (302 S Main St, Gainesboro, TN 38562). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church (302 S Main St, Gainesboro, TN 38562).
