She was predeceased by: her parents, Derbert Lee Martin and Rebva Neil Kirby Martin; her husband James Eldon Pharris; her son James Pharris Jr. (Michael Eldon Pharris); her sisters, Christina, Nora, Patricia, Marya, Iline and Phyllis; and her grandson Billy Dale Pharris, Jr. (Jeffery Wayne Adcox, Jr.).

She is survived by: her children, Billy Pharris of Centerville, TN, Landon Pharris (Lilly) of Nashville, TN, Karen Adcox of Bowling Green, KY, Sue Thackston (Chuck) of Cookeville, TN and Dora Simpson (Ronnie) of Cookeville, TN; her sisters, Charline Sellers of Jackson, TN, Lisa Collins and Beverly Madewell of Westmoreland, TN; and her grandchildren, Nicole Diel, Alex Thackston, Tyler Simpson (Cindy), Chelsey Pharris, Tanner Pharris (Abby), Landon Pharris Jr. and Brandon Pharris (Mandy). She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Saturday, September 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Sunday, September 14th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home, Inc. (2131 S Grundy Quarles Hwy, Gainesboro, TN 38562). A funeral service was held on Sunday, September 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
