We bid farewell to Mary Lou Carmack (Gainesboro, Tennessee), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 11, 2025 at the age of 68. Mary Lou touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Grover Cecil Stafford and Flora Mae Stafford; her husband Thurl Carmack; her siblings, Bobby Stafford, Grover Stafford, Mikey Stafford and Dottie Dawes; and her children-in-law, James Bradley Sproles and Paula Carmack.

She is survived by: her daughters, Rena Kincaid (Ryan) of Cloverdale, IN and Penny Sproles of Gainesboro, TN; her stepson Jacob Ray Carmack of Gainesboro, TN; her siblings, Brown Stafford (Helen) of Gainesboro, TN, Danny Stafford of Gainesboro, TN and Dece Key of Gainesboro, TN; and her grandchildren, Kyle Sproles (Jessica) of Cookeville, TN, Ashlynn Kincaid of Cloverdale, IN, Justin Carmack of Celina, TN and Christopher Carmack of Gainesboro, TN. She is also survived by great grandchild 6; other friends and family.

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home, Inc. (2131 S Grundy Quarles Hwy, Gainesboro, TN 38562). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
