He was predeceased by : his parents, Howard Lamar Stowe and Faybelle Mickey Spradlin Stowe; and his brother Steve Stowe. He is survived by : his wife Nancy Stowe of Gainesboro; his daughter Erin Gismondi (Marc) of Cookeville; his sister Susan Piper (Pat) of Hampton, VA.; his sister-in-law Elizabeth Blankenship; his nieces and nephews, Elizabeth Douthit (Drew), Victoria McDonald (Steven), Jeremy Piper, Christina Merida (Roberto), Dusty Stowe, Felicia Giaccone (Nicholas), Kyle Galloway and Fallon McLaughlin (Ryan); his great-niece Piper Douthit; and his cousins, Scott Roberts and Charlie Gain.

Memorial donations can be made to Happy Haven Children's Home.
