He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles DesChamps and Lillie Mullis DesChamps; his wife Karen DesChamps; his daughter Diane Myrick; and his brother Charles Wayne DesChamps.

He is survived by: his daughters, Denise Spivey (Jim), Donna Dilling and Debbie Scott (Mike); his sisters, Nola Ethridge of Cookeville, TN and Connie Brewster of Cookeville, TN; and his close friends, Barry and Jeanette Gore of Cookeville, TN. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren.
