We are sad to announce that, on January 20, 2026, at the age of 70, Rodney Silvey (Gainesboro, Tennessee), born in Saint Louis, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Dannie Pearl Silvey and Vera Theo Lindsey Silvey; and his brothers, Gary, Tommy, Carl and Randy Silvey.

He is survived by: his wife Sandra Silvey; his daughters, Lindsey Silvey (Travis Fox) of Gainesboro, TN and Amanda Buck (Anthony) of Whitleyville, TN; his sister Denise Cauley of Russellville, KY; his grandchildren, Dawson Poston (Courtney) of Fort Walton, FL, Abigail Poston (Gage Clark) of Gainesboro, TN, Brady Buck of Whitleyville, TN, Piper Buck of Whitleyville, TN and Sadie Buck of Whitleyville, TN; and his great grandchildren, Holden Poston of Fort Walton, FL, Hadelyn Poston of Fort Walton, FL and Hudson Poston of Fort Walton, FL. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
