He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Edward Flatt and Lucy Victoria Burroughs Flatt; his wife Anna Lee Flatt; his brothers, Earl Flatt and Thurel Flatt; and his siblings-in-law, Mary Nell Flatt, Mildred Flatt and Glenous Haney.
He is survived by: his sister Lorene Haney of Gainesboro, TN; and his sisters-in-law, Betty Smallwood of Gainesboro, TN, Royce and Linda Jenkins of Gainesboro, TN.. He is also survived by nieces and nephews; hosts of great nieces and nephews; brothers.
