Though Vernon may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Vernon touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He is survived by: his children, Stewart Bryan, Matthew Walker, Michelle Walker, Katie Walker and Isabella Walker; and his sister Vernicea Simmons (Robbie Litwin). He is also survived by four grandchildren; along with other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, his family has requested memorial donations be made to help assist with his cremation expenses by contacting the business office of the funeral home.
