She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Carter and Annie Carter; her children, Anna Jean Mitchell Spencer, Carolyn Freeman, Lucy N. Mitchell, Erma N Mitchell, Thomas Lee Mitchell Jr. and Gabriel Lee Mitchell; and her grandchildren, Lacresha Mitchell and Lisa Ann Spencer.
She is survived by: her son Terry Wayne Mitchell of Gallatin; her stepchildren, Ronnie Hardison of Gallatin, Kelvin Hardison of Madison, Eris Turner (Ronnie) of Gallatin and Cherie Christian (Chad) of Westmoreland; her grandchildren, Lora Spencer (Kelcey), Toyette Spencer Anderson, Contina Spencer, Joseph Jefferson (Tracy), Robert Black Freeman, Jr., Joseph Freeman (Lakendra), Antonio Freeman, Gabbel Mitchell, Devonia Young (Milton) and Swann Mitchell; her siblings-in-law, Minnie Durham Miller (Jerry), Mitchell Robertson and Charles Durham; and her son-in-law Nathaniel Spencer, Jr.. She is also survived by 21 great-grandchildren; 34 great-great-grandchildren.
