He was predeceased by: his father Thomas D. Vigil; his former wife Lillian Carol Garrett Vigil; his children, Benny Thomas Vigil and Linda Carol Vigil Hix; and his siblings, Agnes Mestas, Abie Vigil, Mary Schneider and Epie Cooper.
He is survived by: his wife Joann Vigil of Gallatin, Tennessee; his daughters, Theresa Elder-Smith (Stephen) of Smithville and Kimberly Alexander of Dickson, Tennessee; his grandchildren, Shawn Lovell (Shannon), Richard Elder (Jennifer), Joseph Bowers (Amanda), Amanda Cothran (Roger), Jessica McComb (Mike) and Gabriel Collins (Chris); and his great grandchildren, Isiah, Jace, Jaelynn, Lillian, Grayson, Rosie, Aubrey, Remy and Mia. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
