He was predeceased by: his father Edward Lee Whiticker; his brother David Lee Whiticker; and his brother-in-law Don Carter. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Climer Whiticker of Gallatin; his mother Nellie McCullough Whiticker Brown of Gallatin; his daughters, Christie Simpson (Shawn) of Gallatin, Rachel Griggs (Chad) of Gallatin and Amy Harding (Nate) of Murfreesboro; his siblings, Ranzy Whiticker of Gallatin, Jake Whiticker of Gallatin, Jimmy Whiticker of Gallatin, Carol Carter of Gallatin and Joyce Taylor (Garey "Butterball") of Portland; his sister-in-law Margaret Lee Whiticker of Westmoreland; his grandchildren, Garrett Griggs (Kaitlyn), Ethan Simpson, Peyton Griggs, Nolan Harding, Sam Harding and Erin Simpson; and his great grandchild Savannah Griggs.
