He was predeceased by: his father Thomas Reed Potts; his wife Lillian Bell Potts; and his brother Thomas Edward Potts. He is survived by: his son David Potts (Pam) of Ellijay; his grandchildren, Annette Fisher (Tommy) of Austin, Melissa Kappler (Eric), Matthew Fisher (Rebecca) of St. Joseph, Michelle Luongo (Matt) of Austin, Jennifer Farrell (TJ) of Jacksonville and Connor Potts of Ellijay, Georgia; his great grandchildren, Joshua, Benjamin, Lucas, Heath, Lillian, Shelby, Grayson and Lilyana; and his sister Betty Wright. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
