He was predeceased by: his parents, William Murley and Dorothy Murley (Oldham); his daughters, Karen Hall, Kristy Holder and Rita Murley; and his brothers, Jack Murley and Dean Murley.

He is survived by: his wife Elaine Murley (Law); his daughters, Tanya Ray (David Ray) and Mindy McCall (Charles McCall); his sister Judy McKeen; and his grandchildren, Jessica Wilder (Jarred Wilder), Mark Ratayczak (Krista Ratayczak), Kevin Anderson (Alicia Anderson), John Butler, Paige McDaniel, Sam Ray, Austin Ray (Tara Ray) and Abbi Williams. He is also survived by many great grandchildren.
