He was predeceased by: his parents, Mervin Bower and Ada Mae Gooden Winscott. He is survived by: his wife Mary Winscott; his children, Deborah Goddard of Ada, OK, Cathy Goddard Smith (Blake) of Spartanburg, SC and Rich Goddard (Emily) of Portland, TN; his grandchildren, Justin Smith, Ryan Smith, Tyler Goddard (Haley), Jackson Goddard, James Cooper Goddard and Elizabeth Keith; and his brother William Winscott (Carol). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
