He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Charles and Mary Ruth Akin. He is survived by: his wife Kaye Akin; his daughters, Kelly Akin Myatt and Julie Aldering (Rob); his siblings, Suzanne Miller and Neil Akin (Renee); his grandchildren, Skyler Manning (Gabby), Abby Nester (Marcus) and Spencer Manning (Alyssa); his great grandchildren, Kayden, Sawyer, Miles and Kolter; and his sister-in-law Debbie Spromberg.
