It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris Brown Martin (Gallatin, Tennessee), born in Portland, Tennessee, who passed away on September 24, 2019, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Arnold Odell Brown and Joy Mae Deasy Brown; her husband Dr. Carl R. Martin; and her son Duane Martin. She is survived by: her daughters, Debra Crawley (Doug), Donna Strader (Jim) and Darla Martin; her siblings, Richard Brown (Kay) and Diane Brown; and her daughter-in-law Joellen Martin. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren.

Donations may be made to the Old Brush Cemetery Fund.

We live across the street on Wentworth and enjoyed having Mrs. Dorris as a neighbor. She would always love on our daughter and encourage my wife and I as parents.
