It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris Savage of Gallatin, Tennessee, who passed away on August 26, 2023, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, William Griggs and Virginia Griggs (Wright); her former life partner Jimmy Shoulders; her granddaughter Holly Vantrease; and her siblings, Joyce Bowles, Richard, Donnie and Doug Griggs.

She is survived by : her husband James Savage; her children, Jeff Shoulders (Melissa), Kim Pearce and Emily Vantrease; her stepsons, Ronnie (Debbie), Gary (Jeri Lynn) and Tony Savage (Kelly); her grandchildren, Allison Jett (Coty), Joshua Shoulders (Amber), Kristen Shoulders (Will Broyles), Jonathan Pearce, Eric Pearce (Presley) and Heather Vantrease; her great grandchildren, Kennedy, Walker Jett, Ripp, Haddie Jo Shoulders, Piper, River Ford, Oaklynn Pearce, Ciere, Avi, Aveen Soloman, Jayden Davis and Serenity Martinez; her sister Shirley Sapp; her stepgrandchildren, Ashley Savage, Lindsey Reeder (Greg), Kailey, Kennedy Williams and Lainie Savage; and her stepgreat-grandsons, Waylon Fuqua, Noah and Max Reeder. She is also survived by extended family and dear friends.
