It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eddie Shannon (Gallatin, Tennessee), born in Yale, Oklahoma, who passed away on December 23, 2018, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his son Rickey Shannon; his granddaughter Brande Butler; and his siblings, Geneva Brown, Virginia Armstrong, Marg Besser, Irene McClean, Richard Shannon, Bill Shannon and Johnny Shannon.

He is survived by: his wife June Eades Shannon of Gallatin; his children, Sandra Butler of Murfreesboro, Karen Bates (Gary) of Bethpage, Beth Julian (Pat) of Gallatin and David Shannon (Stella) of Springfield; his sisters, Peggy Garcia of California, Barbara Shannon of California and Pat Payne of California; and his grandchildren, Richie Shannon (Cindy), April Barton (Adam), Jessey Shannon, Lacie Nichols (Travis), Chris Bates (Laura), Shannon Lancaster (John), Brandon Farrell (Nicole), Tyler Julian, Nick Julian, Amber Coble (Joseph), Michael Shannon (Ashley) and Taylor Shannon.
