He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy Mumpower; his daughter Beverly McCormick; his parents, Charles B. Mumpower and Agnes Mumpower; and his siblings, Thevenow Mumpower, Waymon Mumpower, Gayle Mumpower and Eureka Lee.
He is survived by: his daughters, Janet Derden (Gary), Teresa Mumpower, Karen Scruggs (Kenneth), Sandra Green (Terry) and Charlotte Mumpower (PT Tate); his adoptive daughters, Heather Martin (Sondra) and Brandi Hall; and his brothers, Charles Mumpower (Linda) and Harry Mumpower (Carolyn).
A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 2nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Sumner Memorial Gardens (420 Albert Gallatin Ave, Gallatin, TN 37066).
