He was predeceased by: his father Homer Scott; his wife Bettye Williams Scott; and his siblings, Jim Scott, Nancy Moss, Robbie Dobbs and Pat Harris.
He is survived by: his sons, Clay Scott (Debbie) of Scottsville, KY and Brandt Scott (Sandie) of Lebanon; and his granddaughter Sarah Scott.
