He was predeceased by: his parents, Jimmy Laird and Lillian Laird; and his brother Laurie Laird. He is survived by: his wife Etta Gay Laird; his sons, Harry William "Billy" Laird, Jr. (Kathy) and Michael Paul Laird (Tina); his granddaughters, Alicia Laird Myers (Tyler), Mary Kathleen "Katie" Laird (Ryan Sheppard), Sophia Faith Laird and Madeline Hope Laird; his great grandchild Harrison Taylor Myers; his siblings, Dorothy "Dot" Dukes, Marie Wade (Robert), Charles Laird (Carolyn), Delano Laird (Leah), Frankie Laird and Donnie Laird (Linda); and his sister-in-law Lillie Laird. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association, American Stroke Association or the Alzheimer's Association.
