He is survived by: his wife Mary Alice Phinney; his sister Francis Phinney Gullyes; his children, Hartley Phinney (Rebecca), Dr. Leslie Phinney and Rev. Ruth McIntyre (Joel McIntyre); and his grandchildren, Darcy Phinney (Alberto Juarez), Hartley Phinney, Mykal Phinney (Flora) and Reese Phinney.
