He was predeceased by: his father Isom L. Rittenberry; his son Steven Deering; and his sister Donna Skaggs. He is survived by: his wife Camilla Jean Durham Rittenberry of Gallatin; his son Mike Deering (Tina) of Gallatin; his siblings, Joe Rittenberry (Barbara) of Alabama, Thomas "Tommy" Rittenberry (Jackie) of Lafayette, Betty Gammons of Gallatin, Bertha Taylor of Kentucky, Janet Woodard of Gallatin, Debbie Silcox of Gallatin, Pat Moore (Larry) of Gallatin and Sheryl Smith of Hendersonville; his grandchildren, Miranda Bugg and Tori Watson; and his great grandchild Novaleigh Barnett.
