He is survived by: his wife Lisa Stringer; his sons, Michael Steven Stringer (Cara), James Matthew Stringer (Ami) and Brandon Scott Bryant (Caitlin); his grandchildren, Tyler Bryant, Hunter Bryant, Brittany Dunn (Devin), Kaitlyn Harris, MaKayla Bryant, Braydyn Stringer, Sebastian "Bash" Stringer, Bella Stringer, Elijah "Eli" Johnson, Brooklyn Whiticker, Daisy Bryant and Mason Whiticker; his great grandchildren, Greyson Watson, Elaina Keene and Avery Renee Long; and his sisters, Melody Stringer Graves (Phillip), Suretta Stringer Key (Bucky) and Joani Stringer Jeffiers (Doug).
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Sellars Funeral Home (108 Monthaven Park Pl, Hendersonville, TN 37075). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
