It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Travis Johns (Gallatin, Tennessee), who passed away on June 30, 2025, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Maggie Todd and James Earl Johns; his wife Ivory Lee Johns; and his granddaughter Karlie Troutt. He is survived by: his daughters, Karen Cook (Troy) of Castalian Springs, Daphne Hunter (Jay) of Gallatin, Erin Johns (Michael Troutt) of Cottontown and Jodi Wilson (Jason) of Gallatin; his brothers, Jimmy Ray Johns of Gallatin, Sid Dyer of Lafayette and Wayne Dyer of Lafayette; and his grandchildren, Emma Cook, Gunner Cook, Kailiegh Hunter, Maggie Hunter, Travis Troutt, Haley Troutt, Kylie Troutt, Dylan Freeman, Lexi Freeman and Liam Freeman.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, July 4th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Gallatin (100 Albert Gallatin Ave, Gallatin, TN 37066). A funeral service was held on Friday, July 4th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
