She was predeceased by: her father Harris Herbert Durham; her husband James "Bud" Rittenberry; her son Stephen DeWayne Deering; and her siblings, Thelma Darnell and Bobby Harris Durham.
She is survived by: her son Mike Deering (Tina) of Gallatin; her sister Wanda Mann of Virginia; her grandchildren, Tori Watson and Miranda Bugg (Kaleb Barnett); and her great grandchildren, Novaleigh Barnett and Hadlee Barnett.
