With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jerry Don Oakley of Gallatin, Tennessee, who passed away on January 23, 2021 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Oakley and Vivian Byers Oakley; and his grandson Kyle Bagwell. He is survived by: his wife Brenda J. Oakley; his daughters, Valerie Cloud (John), Little Rock and DeAna Bagwell (Scott); his sister Cheryl Oakley of Wingo, KY; and his great grandchildren, Annaleigh Wiegel, Evie Wiegel, Philip Andrew Tappan III and Grayson Scott Lewis Crump.

The family will be honoring all Covid protection protocols and anyone who cannot make the service is invited to watch the service via livestream through Springfield Baptist Church website.

Memorial contributions may be made to Mission Projects at Springfield Baptist Church or Gallatin First Baptist Church. All donations may be sent care of the Austin & Bell Funeral Home.
