He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas R. Mankin and Margaret Turner Mankin; and his siblings, Ted Mankin, Tommy Mankin and Suzanne Schofield.
He is survived by: his wife Jane Cato Mankin; his daughters, Julie Buttrey (Todd) and Jonie Sparks (Elliott); his siblings, Joey Mankin and Carol Terceno; his grandchildren, Megan Jankiewicz (Matt), Chase Stidham, Morgan Petitt (Austin), Emily Britt (Jared) and Mitchell Buttrey (Melanie); and his great grandchildren, Scarlett Jankiewicz, Mattie Kate Jankiewicz, Henley Buttrey, Mason Jankiewicz and Parker Petitt.
