He was predeceased by: his parents, John Fulton Bell and Hattie Laverne Bell; his brother Dr. Bobby G. Bell; and his nephew Jeffery A. Bell. He is survived by: his wife Glee Ann Long Bell; his children, Cecilia Leanne Mattingly (John) and Jonathan Edwards Bell (Lana); his grandchildren, Connor Bell, Devin Freeman (Kaitlyn) and Zoe Freeman; his sister Linda Katherine Bell; his nephew Dr. John Gregory Bell; and his sister-in-law Angela Bell.
