He is survived by: his wife Brandy Givens-Newby Shrum of Gallatin; his son Jon Addison Shrum of Gallatin; his parents, Michael L. Shrum, Sr. (Missy) of Gallatin and Cindy McKinney York of Westmoreland; his grandmother Jean Shrum of Gallatin; his siblings, Timothy Shrum (Tamra) of Bethpage and Holly Hodges (Brandon) of Bethpage; his aunt Joannie Borden (Randy) of Scottsville; his nieces, Audrey Shrum and Abby Shrum; and his cousins, Blake Legge (Stephanie), Lauren Wheeley (Justin) and Savannah Wheeley.
