She was predeceased by: her husband Ronald Hughes; and her niece Phyllis Searcy. She is survived by: her children, Teresa Bennett (Tim) and Glenn Hughes (Jerrie); her grandson Aaron Pickard (Calesha); her great grandchildren, Vivian Pickard and Anderson Pickard; and her siblings, Naomi Scott and Lee Alton "Tom" Graves (Cora Ellen).
