We are sad to announce that, on February 27, 2018, at the age of 92, Maida Moss Thompson (Gallatin, Tennessee) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her children, James Francis Moss, Jr. and Patti Jean Moss; her husband Richard C. "Dick" Thompson; her brothers, Walter Johnson and Billy Bright Johnson; and her daughter-in-law Annette Derryberry Moss.

She is survived by: her daughter Peggy Ann Greene (Pete) of Gallatin; her grandchildren, Joe Howard Whitaker, Jr., Julie Ann Riemenschneider (Robert), Emily Elizabeth Johnson and Brandon James Moss; and her great grandchildren, Max Norris, Stella Rose Riemenschneider and Katherine Elizabeth Johnson.

In lieu of flowers, prayerfully consider "paying it forward" to someone in need, or to Nashville Road Church of Christ, in memory of Maida Moss Thompson, 1883 Nashville Pike, Gallatin, TN 37066.
