She was predeceased by: her husband Robert L. Cain; and her brothers, Norman Wherry and Albert Wherry. She is survived by: her children, Barbara Smith (Mark), Beverly Cain and Stephen Cain (Lucy); her grandchildren, Allison Treasure (Mike), Randall Smith, Robert Cain and Catherine Cain; and her brother Larry Wherry.

Throughout her life, Arlene was committed to make the most of every situation, and despite the early onset of Alzheimer's Disease, she chose to bravely face her diagnosis and continued to bring joy to all who knew her.
