It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ona Mae Black Beisel of Gallatin, Tennessee, born in New Hope, Alabama, who passed away on December 19, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Alvin Stewart and Nannie Pepper; her husband Charles Beisel; and her siblings, Edsel, Marvin Stewart, Mary Lemley and Betty Stewart.

She is survived by : her children, Melanie Black, Mimi Mills, Michele Schmidt, Lisa Bolden and Glenda Woida; her grandchildren, Indy Ginnings, David Schmidt, James Schmidt, Charity Schmidt, Rebekah Merrill, Heather Abner, Lexi Woida, Taylor Woida, Jonathan Bolden, Angela Sandlin and Kristine Mayes; her siblings, Jewel Doke, Edna Stewart and Faye Moncini; and her sibling-in-law Elane Hopkins. She is also survived by great-grandchildren.
