She was predeceased by : her father James T. Givens; her son Jonathan Bryan Cook; her sister-in-law Julie Givens; her brother Jimmy Givens; and her grandson Adam Cook.

She is survived by : her sons, Jon McDonald (Ashley) of Lafayette and Anthony "Tony" Cook of Gallatin; her brothers, William Givens (Anna) of Gallatin and Kenneth Givens of Florida; her grandchildren, Amber McKinney (Chad), Izzy Cherry, Alexander West, Allison McDonald and Shelby McDonald; and her great grandchildren, Ava McKinney and Liberty Cook.
