It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peter Darwin Buikema of Gallatin, Tennessee, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on February 13, 2022, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Buikema and Minnie Buikema (Beukema). He is survived by: his wife Grace Buikema (Wiersema); his children, Peter Brian Buikema (Suzanne), Daniel John Buikema (Megan) and Sarah Elizabeth Franklin (Eric); his grandchildren, Colleen Buikema, Camryn Buikema, Liam Buikema, Aiden Buikema James Franklin and Griffin Franklin; and his siblings, Cheryl Norris, Ralph Buikema (Ellen) and Russell Buikema.
