He was predeceased by: his former wife Jo Anne Greene; and his parents, Matthew Greene and Bertie Greene. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Greene; his sons, Josh Greene (Brynn) of Chattanooga and Matt Greene of Gallatin, Tennessee; his stepchildren, Joe Howard Whitaker (Marcie) of Gallatin and Julie Riemenschneider of Gallatin, Tennessee; his siblings, Nick Greene of Shelby and Sara Branton of Shelby; and his grandchildren, Sophia Greene, William Greene, Maverick Greene, Rosie Riemenschneider, Max Norris and Mara Whitaker.
A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, November 21st 2026 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Sellars Family Heritage Funeral Home (100 Albert Gallatin Ave, Gallatin, TN 37066).
The family kindly requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Pancreatic Society, King Solomon Lodge in Gallatin, Tennessee, and Shriners Children's Hospital in Pete's memory.
