It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard P. Searcy of Gallatin, Tennessee, born in Portland, Tennessee, who passed away on January 22, 2023, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Norman L. Searcy; his sisters, Theresa Searcy, Norma Jacobs and Betty Haddock; and his nephew Mike Pate.
He is survived by: his wife Kay Searcy; his children, Brian Ellis and Brooke S. Luna (Jeremy); his grandchildren, Zachary Luna, Shiloh Luna, MaKayla Ellis and MaKenley Ellis; his great grandchild Korben Ellis; and his siblings, Jenilee Cannon and Butch Searcy (Waynelle). He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
