He was predeceased by: his parents, Elbert Powers and Hettie Powers; and his brother Carl Powers. He is survived by: his wife Mary Beth Nutter Powers; his children, Dennis Powers (Sharon) of Gallatin, TN, Randy Powers (Vicki) of Nashville, TN and Katie Herrick (Ed) of Gallatin, TN; his grandchildren, Alex Powers (Carly) of Nashville, TN and Hannah Orr (Taylor) of Memphis, TN; his great grandchild Gracie Orr; his stepgrandson Travis Naybors (Hether) of Mason, TN; and also, Kaitlynne Rieman (Van) of Florida and Hayden Naybors of Mason, TN.. He is also survived by brothers and sisters-in-law that loved him very much as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
