He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Rose and Ruth Rose; his son Bobby Rose; and his siblings, William Perry Rose, Neill Harrington and Wanda Nelson.

He is survived by: his children, Geoffrey Anthony, Mike Rose (Connie), Donna Stewart (Kenneth) and Debbie Richey (Dave); his brother Clyde Vernon Rose; and his nephew Jerry Nelson. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
